How do I cut a particleboard sheet online?
Add a sheet and your parts to the project, set the saw kerf and the edge margin — Raspili lays the parts out across the sheet for you. The algorithm is the same for every sheet material: particleboard, MDF and plywood.
Can edge banding be taken into account?
Yes. Mark the banding on the sides of a part and the layout accounts for it, so the part size on the cutting map is already reduced by its thickness. No separate edge calculator is needed — it is counted together with the cutting.
Do I need separate software for drillings?
No. Drillings are the marks for holes and grooves used in assembly. They are built in the same project as the cutting and carry over into the PDF and DXF for the workshop.
Can I use the cutting tool for free?
Yes, the start is free: calculating sheets, offcuts and the cutting map works without installing anything, right in the browser.
How do I read the cutting map before printing?
In the editor the map can be adjusted by hand: move a part to another sheet or rotate it. Export it to PDF for the workshop, to Excel for the schedule and edge-band footage, or to DXF for CNC. The notation is explained in the sheets and parts guide.
