How the "Cut" button carries a finished model into cutting with no manual re-entry of sizes, plus how to save a project, share it, and publish it to the community.
The "Cut" button in the designer's header turns a 3D model into a cutting spec: parts, their sizes, material, edge banding and fasteners are carried over automatically — nothing needs to be typed in by hand. Next to it are "Save", "Sketch", "Publish" and "Share", which manage the project itself.

The "Cut" button stays disabled until the project has at least one part — next to it is a count of parts that will go to cutting.
Raspili saves the project on its own where possible, and opens the cutting builder with the part spec already filled in.
From there you work with them like any cutting project — set sheets, pick a cutting mode, and get a cutting map.
Click "Save" in the header, or press Ctrl+S. Until a project has been saved on the server at least once, it can't be shared by link — Raspili shows a short hint about that instead.
No link is created without saving first.
The project's link is copied to the clipboard automatically.
They sign into their own Raspili account and open the project in view mode — nothing to install.
Click "Publish" — Raspili saves the project, takes a snapshot of the scene for the cover image, and opens the publish form. Only available once the project has at least one part that goes to cutting.
The right side of the designer's header — five project-control buttons.

Clicking "Share" before the first save shows a short hint instead of a link.

Once saved, the same button copies a working link — the recipient opens it and sees the project in view mode.
| What you see | Why it happens | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| The "Cut" button is disabled | The project has no part that goes to cutting | Add a part, or turn on "Include part in cutting" for at least one of them. |
| "Save the project to share it" | The project hasn't been saved on the server yet | Click "Save" (or Ctrl+S), then try "Share" again. |
| "Project limit reached" when clicking "Cut" | Your plan has run out of room for new saved projects | Free up room in "Projects", upgrade to Pro, or continue without saving to the server — the scene is kept as a local draft in the browser and offered for recovery when you return to the designer. |
| The "Publish" button is disabled | The project has no part that goes to cutting | Add at least one such part. |
No, the part spec — sizes, material, edge banding and fasteners — is carried over automatically.
They sign into their own Raspili account (or sign up) and open the project in view mode — nothing to install.
Yes, if the project limit is reached — the dialog offers a "Continue" option: the scene is kept as a local draft in the browser.
"Save" just saves the project on the server. "Publish" and "Cut" also save the project first, then do their own thing: open the community publish form, or carry the parts into cutting.
That's the count of parts with "Include part in cutting" turned on — those are exactly the ones that will end up in the spec.
